Aquabatix underwater model Genevieve features in the brilliant new TCL mobile commercial.

Aquabatix was contacted by Matthew at NML Casting, who was looking for models who were confident underwater as well as having good acting skills above the water for a scene in the bath for the new campaign. Aquabatix has several underwater models, who are all former synchronised swimmers, free divers and swimmers, and sent over their underwater show reels to showcase their skills and look in the water. Genevieve was cast by the production company Deadbeat Films and the marketing agency behind the campaign, Fearlessly Frank for the TCL commercial.

The brief was a dreamlike sequence being immersed underwater in what looks like the seas of Indonesia, but then flips to a shot of Genevieve in the bathtub looking at the images of the sea on her phone. Genevieve floats gracefully around in the gold sparkling water before a huge rubber duck intervenes, and she is then shown in the bath. Anthony Toma called Genevieve “A star”.

The underwater footage was filmed at Under The Water tank in Croydon, with Director Boris Thomson-Roylance, Producer Anthony Toma  and DOP Loerenzo Levrini at the helm.
