April 12th 2021 signified a big step for the UK, with swimming pools reopening alongside gyms, shops, beauty services and open air spaces in pubs in the uneasing of lockdown rules.

Aquabatix were asked by leisure providers Better UK to provide some synchronized swimmers for a photo shoot to capture the significant moment for the national press. Back in July 2020, the images featuring Aquabatix for the same moment, made most the national media, including the front page of The Observer.
Two synchronised swimmers, Genevieve and Rebecca, made their way to Clissold Leisure Centre in London, along with Aquabatix choreographer and movement director Adele Carlsen. With several poses created and ready for the photographers, the girls moved into action, wearing striking red swimsuits to contrast the stunning blue background of the water. Adele guided the photographers as to the positions and where would be best to shoot.

Again the images were a success, being featured globally in media outlets and in all the main UK press, both in print and online. Better UK were successful in getting their brand in all the major media outlets and globally too with the focus of swimming pools reopening, in which was a busy news week with lockdown easing and the death of Prince Philip.
