Aquabatix created a beautiful water ballet show for a private pool party in the Royal town of Windsor. Some venues are legendary, and that includes the pool where Aquabatix got to perform in for the private birthday party.
Set on the river in Windsor, former Led Zeppelin band member Jimmy Page used to be the previous owner to the house, and had the pool designed based on part of his guitar.
With boats sailing by, Aquabatix spent the morning rehearsing in the pool, before the guests arrived. Entertainment company Flaming Fun produced all the entertainment for the party including statues, a band and a magician.
The guests enjoyed drinks by the river before being seated for a late afternoon lunch and speeches. Afterwards they gathered around poolside, to watch two shows by Aquabatix. With the synchronised swimmers dressed in classic silver sparkling swimsuits, retro flowery caps and bright orange parasols, they paraded over a small bridge and walked around poolside to gather the guests attention. Performing to Smoke City’s Underwater Love followed by Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, the guests filmed and took photos on the performance whilst cheering the girls along on the summer afternoon.
The routines were inspired by classic synchronised swimming with formations but fused with a more modern athletic approach, including backflips and somersaults and fast paced movements with legs out of the water.
The client and guests loved the performance and it was an honour to perform in such an iconic shaped pool
