Stylo G, a British reggae fusion recording artist, gave it his best underwater video style for his latest music video Stone Cold Lover.
Directed by Kevin Hudson, the video is set mainly underwater. Filmed at the Underwater Studio, in Basildon, the music video took a day to shoot. Aquabatix were on hand to perform in white dresses underwater, with underwater artists and former competitive synchronised swimmers, Millie Grinham and Danielle Cooper, effortlessly spinning, gliding and creating shapes with their unique underwater video style. The professional synchronised swimmers create so much elegance entwined in the video with their underwater movement. The Aquabatix underwater choreographer also worked with Stylo G to teach him how to float on the surface, in order to be able to hold himself in a shape for the time required for certain shots as well as help him become more confident underwater for those shots.
The story sees Stylo G being teased by a girl dressed in red but as he tries to reach out he is still unable to connect with her. See the story play out by watching the video here
