Fitbit made a splash in The Times with their Strictly Come Dancing inspired underwater shoot to promote their new waterproof Flex 2 wristband.

Aquabatix models Phoebe and Ashley, spent the day submerged at The Underwater Studio in Basildon with renowned underwater photographer Zac Macaulay, dancing and posing like Strictly’s Daisy Lowe and Aljaz Skorjanec on the aquatic dance floor. They wore the slim sporty brand on their wrist whilst showing off their sparkling outfits which included a dress worn by one of the previous contestants on the well loved BBC show.

The underwater professionals were chosen by Fitbit not only because of their look, but also because of their ability to spend hours in water, knowing how to move and pose underwater, as well as being able to hold their breath for long periods of time. Those expertise are essential for any shoot involving water, as there are so many other complications involved, the crew and models need to be experienced and confident to make it all run to time and budget.
