The new Fitbit Flex 2 and Charge 2 are waterproof so what better way to launch the new product than showcasing a dynamic routine performed by synchronised swimmers wearing the stylish bands on their wrists.
London’s glamorous Haymarket Hotel was set up as the venue for this event, which hosts a beautiful pool set within a bar, with mood lighting and a big screen. The press launch had several Olympians attending including gold medal winning rower Pete Reed as well as Professor of sport science and celebrity endurance trainer Greg Whyte. Aquabatix even had two Olympians performing on the night, with Olivia having just got back from competing for Great Britain in the synchronised swimming in Rio.
Aquabatix took to the pool to perform three times throughout the evening to the press and guests as well as posing for photos in and out of the pool. Fitbit said of Aquabatix’s performance: “They were really fantastic and such a talking point, and quite in awe of how they do it and still keep smiling! I’m very happy we made the decision to go with them – the event would not have been the same without them”.
