Aquabatix joined British rap star Tinie Tempah and DJ Apl De Ap from the World famous group The Black Eyed Peas, to perform their glamorous water entertainment at the launch of the new stunning new five star resort Melia Dunas in the beautiful Cape Verde islands.
Hundreds of specially invited guests gathered around the main pool after the opening speeches by The Resort Group and government officials, to watch in delight as Aquabatix kicked off the night’s entertainment in one of the many pools on site. To the crowd’s delight, the water entertainment included a dynamic synchronised swimming routine to the Black Eyed Peas classic “I’ve Gotta Feeling”. The girls then went on to perform as mystical mermaids later on that evening.
The next day, our mermaids were back, this time entertaining the younger generations during a special children’s show to Pirates of the Caribbean set around the kids pool.
Nicky Plant, Director of Classique Promotions who sourced all the entertainment for the opening weekend said, Aquabatix were “absolutely amazing and so professional”
