It’s not everyday your name is featured in a song, but it happened to Aquabatix this weekend with Saturday Night Takeaway water entertainment for the finale of their popular series.

We were delighted to perform alongside Britain’s national treasures Ant and Dec, and the incredible opera singer Katherine Jenkins, on ITV’s prime time programme Saturday Night Takeaway’s grand finale for The End Of Show show.

The show was screened live from on board the P&O cruise liner, Britannia, docked in Barcelona for the evening.

The show was also filmed in front of a live audience and other guests included singer Peter Andre, actor James Nesbitt, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and You Tube sensation Alfie Deyes. It was also a fantastic experience to work with Olivier award winner and Creative Director Karen Bruce, who is well known for her work in theatre and for programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing.

The Aquabatix synchronised swimmers performed a visually stunning routine whilst the incredible opera singer, Katherine Jenkins, sang live, again showcasing how synchronised swimming is even more spectacular with live singers performing next to the pool, to help bring their music more to life. Perhaps Saturday Night Takeaway water entertainment could become a regular slot!
