The Brief
Massive Creative Events Agency was looking for a unique and glamorous form of entertainment for Sunday brunch guests at a huge private birthday party for a prominent captain of industry at the world famous Hotel Cipriani.
Aquabatix Execution
Aquabatix fit the bill and worked with Massive to choreograph a bespoke routine to the music and theme of the client’s choice.
For convenience Aquabatix was able to choreograph the entire routine and rehearse it in the UK before flying out one day prior to the event to rehearse further at the venue. The performance from Aquabatix was the final fabulous flourish at an event where other major music acts performed for an audience of music industry veterans, socialites and film stars.
Unfazed by the gliteratti, Aquabatix made quite an impression as they walked through the gathering of guests before arriving at the pool edge to start their routine, donned in eye-catching costumes.
Perfectly fulfilling the brief, Aquabatix stole the spotlight as party goers gathered excitedly around the stunning pool at the 5-star Hotel Cipriani hotel in Venice.
The swimmers delighted the crowds with their fun and high-octane routine. As the performance drew to a close, the team cleverly engineered a sequence whereby the name of the client was spelled out with letters that had been stitched on to the swimmers’ costumes.
Keen to interact with the performers following the event, the client invited Aquabatix to take part in a group photo on poolside. The client and their guests were so enamoured by the routine and the swimmers that some of the client’s male friends borrowed the their costumes to have a go at the routine themselves to the amusement of the other guests.
All this made for a truly sensational bash made all the more special by Aquabatix’ involvement.
