Sync or Swim Exhibition, Belfast

Aquabatix were the belles of the Belfast Film Festival. This unique one-off event featured a synchronised swimming exhibition by Aquabatix athletes, and a specially created presentation of memorable aquatic movie moments.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Graduate and The Big Lebowski were just a few of the featured films which were introduced by the poolside ringmaster. Audience members could enjoy the show on dry land or in the pool itself and those that chose to watch the clips in the water were eager to show off their Aquabatix inspired moves.

Aquabatix captured the hearts of Belfast's film fanatics on 26th September, with their classic Esther Williams inspired routine, performed to the music of Frank Sinatra. 

The audience were floored by the combination of team and solo routines, performed in front of a huge cinema screen which had been brought in especially for the festival.  Clips of iconic films with aquatic themes, complimented the Aquabatix's slick and elegant choreography.
