Synchro duo Randall and Allison win silver in Germany
Britain's top synchronised swimming duo, Jenna Randall and Olivia Allison, finished on an international podium together for the first time, with silver at the German Open in Bonn.
Jenna and Olivia were only 0.1 points off winners France, scoring 89.5125 with a new routine.
Jenna, 21, from Surrey, was second in the free solo and the team also won bronze in the free combined team final.
"We got the feedback we needed for our new routines, which was important," said performance director Biz Price.
Randall and Allison have increased the degree of difficulty in their programme since last season, when they reached world finals in both the technical and freestyle disciplines.
