Turkuazoo Aquarium in Istanbul

Aquabatix enjoyed enormous success in Istanbul performing in the largest Aquarium in Europe, Turkuazoo . Two synchronised swimming athletes braved the cold waters of the Aquarium containing sharks and sting rays, to perform a bespoke choreographed underwater routine. Using their unique skills and breathold abilities, they told the love story of a mermaid who saves a shipwrecked man from a sinking ship and they fall in love and live happily ever after in her underwater kingdom.

The ten minute performances took place three times a day over a four day period between 10-13 February and were very well received by the thousands of spectators that watched each day.
