Aquabatix comes out on Top!
Aquabatix has won the Event Awards 2010 ‘Act of the Year’ category at a dazzling ceremony at the Roundhouse in London on 24th September.
The win is an incredible triumph for the company which has undertaken some challenging and successful events all over the world in the past year. After receiving the award for highly commended in the same category in 2009, Aquabatix were determined more than ever to take the title this time round. The win was particularly poignant, as the votes were cast by the public, and it is now clear that Aquabatix not only has an impressive client portfolio, but a large fan-base.
This year the team entertained David Walliams and his new bride, Lara Stone, for their nuptials at Shoreditch house, won various modelling campaigns for Speedo, performed for five weeks in a specially built sync-tank in Korea, enjoyed a trip to Monaco for a star studded wedding, modelled and performed in designer swimwear for Condénast’s Brides exhibition, choreographed bespoke routines for a solo sync-tank act representing Chanel in Beijing and swam in the Brighton marina for the Big Splash 2010.
Aquabatix hope that winning this award will provide many more opportunities to further expand the company and enjoy an even fuller year in 2011.
