Aquabatix Win Event Awards ‘Act of the Year’ Again!

Aquabatix were last night (20 September) voted The Event Awards ‘Act of the Year’ for the second year in a row. The team of ten synchronised swimmers performed live and without water to ‘I’ve Gotta Feeling’ by the Black Eyed Peas, with a backdrop show-reel of past performances in water edited by MoJo pictures

This was a first for Aquabatix, performing a routine on a dry stage for an audience of 700 of the Event industry’s leading figures, who voted for the winner on the night.

The glittering ceremony, a highlight of the event industry’s calendar, took place at Camden’s Roadhouse. The Aquabatix team fought off strong competition from top class acts Rockaoke, Soul Symphony and Bruce Airhead to be crowned ‘Act of the Year’ for the second time!
