Barcelona Gala Dinner

October got off to a fantastic start with a team of eight Aquabatix ladies flying to Barcelona to perform at a gala dinner hosted by technology giant Canalys at the exquisite Rey Juan Carlos Hotel. Due to the unusually shaped swimming pool having a catwalk running down the centre making two separate pools, the eight athletes performed as two teams of four simultaneously.

Strutting their stuff down the catwalk, the athletes made quite an unexpected entrance before diving into the beautifully lit pools. The two performances were so well received by the audience, the CEO of Canalys requested that the athletes swim again. Never ones to pass up a performance opportunity, the athletes hopped back in to give a ten minute improvisation performance to the absolute delight of the crowd
