Bala was born back in 2018 by company founders Natalie and Max, who created the Bala bangle, the stylish weighted bands that amplify the benefits of most routines. The husband and wife team believe beautiful, functional fitness accessories will change the way people move, because life includes exercise but is not exclusively defined by it. They have expanded their products recently to include the power ring, Bala bars and also some clothing apparel.
Aquabatix USA loved the idea of functional fitness being incorporated into everyday life, and jumped into the glistening Pink Hollywood Regency Mid Century Vintage House pool to model the Bala bangles and power ring with innovative poses in the water.
Adding another eye capturing dimension, the Aquabatix USA synchronized swimmers all put on a pair of pink high heels. Working out in style. With a hint of 1980’s in the feel of the shoot, styled by Bala brand ambassador Erica Holloway and captured in the make up by Carly Fisher, and by photographer Sarah Pardini, the swimmers, Inga, Rachel, Joannie and Miriam posed in, above and under the water. Aquabatix USA co-orinator Val Williams helped get the swimmers into symmetrical formations. The Bala babes were born.
